I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancer. I’ve chosen to honor these specific children as they have similar types of cancer to those which claimed some of my loved ones. Although they were adults, we still didn’t have the ability to cure them. If children’s research is receiving less funding than the adults (and children’s medicine is more delicate) than I would like to do my part to find cures for them as well. If that means losing my hair, so be it. One of my family friends wouldn’t let anyone see him leading up to his death because he didn’t want anyone to see him in that state. I can respect that, I suppose, but I hated that he was alone and that he was ashamed of how he looked. So I will shave my head and I will donate... and I challenge you to donate like it was your friend or your child that needed a cure because you never know, maybe it will be. Thank you so much for reading this.
