I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded with less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s budget dedicated solely to research in this area.

So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. St. Baldrick’s raises funds for research for treatments and cures, to train new doctors, to provide supportive care, and to address side effects.

My fundraising efforts are in honor of my Aunt Michele, my namesake, who was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, when she was 28 and lost her battle two months later.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? If I meet my fundraising goal, I will Brave the Shave. But only if you help me get there! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
