I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldacious Baldies

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldacious Baldies

Nothing.

That was what doctors told Charlie Poole, after several treatments were unsuccessful. Nothing could be done to cure 14-year-old Charlie's DIPG brain tumor.

You see, children's cancers are different than adults. Some are so unknown that there are not treatments effective enough to cure them. Like Charlie's. His only option for treatment is traveling to Mexico once a month for experimental chemotherapy.

That's why St. Baldrick's is so important. It is one of the only organizations that funds research for rare cancers like Charlie's. That's why I am committed to raise $18,000 in 2018 when I shave my head for the 7th time at Kitty Hoynes (March 25).

With your help and my head, we can give kids like Charlie hope. Please share my letter to help my fundraising and in the long run, kids like Charlie. He is 16 now and one of 7 kids I'm honoring. Read about him  and all children I'm honoring, below.

Thanks,

Bodie (13)
