I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team CKCKC

Hello! I'm shaving my head to not only raise money for childhood cancer research but to also support my stepdaughter, Olivia in her fight against Burkitt Lymphoma. I started dating my now husband, Kyle, in March of 2016 and I had the privilege of meeting his daughter in May of that year. Since then it has been a joyous whirlwind of learning her personality,  forming a relationship with her and as a new family of three.  Olivia was brought to the hospital on November 9th, 2017 and was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma shortly thereafter; it is a day that will forever be burned into my memory. Since then she has received several rounds of chemo and and will begin another round very soon. The impacts of chemotherapy, both positive and negative, presented themselves very early on, one of which being hair loss. Therefore, I want to participate in St. Baldricks so that I may demonstrate to this courageous 4 year old that I am in this fight with her and to support cancer research simultaneously.

Now I need your help! I set a goal of $1,304 initially, however, this goal was met and surpassed within a day or two of signing up - Thank you to all that have donated already, you're all truly amazing. So, I have decided to up my goal to $4,000 since Olivia is 4 years old.

So, will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference not only for Olivia and our family but for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you deeply for any amount you are willing and able to make.
