I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Flavortown

This is the fourth time I'm shaving my head for St. Baldricks in memory of Julia Janes. She courageously fought cancer from age 16-20 before passing away. Pediatric cancer research is severely underfunded; I am shaving my head not only to raise money for research, but to bring attention and awareness to the differences between pediatric and adult cancers - especially the lack of funding for the former. Check out the non profit founded in honor of Julia - http://www.juliaslegacyofhope.org/

My goal is $2500, but I'm secretly hoping to smash that number and raise it with the help of my shavee team consisting of my best friend Emma Zachocki!! It's her first time shaving so please visit our team page and check out her donation page as well.

--------

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
