I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aon

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aon

Hi! My Name is Olivia Duncan and I very excited to participate in St. Baldrick's this year with my dad and brother.  This is my second time on joining in on the family tradition.  Two years ago I had the honor of sitting next to my Dad as they cut my hair pretty short (not all the way bald, but enough to donate to locks of love).  I have not cut my hair for the past 2 years since that event to get it long enough so that I could join in on the fun again this year!  One additional surprise this year is that my brother Jacob is going to go Bald with my dad and me!  The whole family is super excited to celebrate all the great things St. Baldrick’s has been able to do in the world of childhood cancer research based on the very generous donations from people like you. Based on the amazing support everyone offered up last year at the PARMA event (the event raised just over $104,700), we are looking forward to another great year. We understand that there are many good causes out there competing for your donations, so we want to say THANK YOU for whatever size of donation you are able to contribute to this amazing cause!

To help celebrate these special haircuts, I am happy to inform you that any dollar you donate will be matched by an anonymous individual up to a maximum of $2,500! So, with that amazing news, all that is left to be done is to raise some money and get a wee bit taken off the top! With my bald head, I’ll stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer. But that’s not the main reason. Most important, I’m doing this to raise money for life-saving research.

You can count on this donation being used responsibly. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Your support makes you an important part of the world’s largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. The St. Baldrick’s has funded more than $200 million in research since 2005!
