I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Here we go!! I'm a strong believer in the quote "If it scares you, you should probably do if." The idea of choosing to shave my head scares the crap out of me- but for the more than 175,000 kids diagnosed with cancer each year... They don't have the luxury of a choice. In the US, more children die of cancer than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and diabetes combined. St. Baldrick's foundation is working to change this. This volunteer- based charity is commited to raising funds for the severely underfunded areas of childhood cancer research. I want to help, and I'm asking you to help me!! If I am able to raise $1000 for St. Baldrick's- I will shave my head. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
