The donations raised through St. Baldrick's have been granted to fund pediatric cancer research projects at most of the serious pediatric cancer research institutions in the United States (and some abroad). St. Baldrick's emphasizes collaboration between these institutions- by working together, studies can be larger and more powerful, and ideas can be shared. Research grant proposals are submitted by many U.S. and international institutions and are then scored and ranked by teams comprised of top specialists who volunteer their time to St. Baldrick's. The highest ranking proposals get funded.
WHAT MAKES ST. BALKDRICK'S DIFFERENT? (1) Your donations fund research into better treatments for kids with cancer (2) Your donations fund the best research as determined through a merit based review system. (3) St. Baldrick's is the second largest independent funder of pediatric cancer research in the U.S., next to the National Cancer Institute. It is the leader in this area and has gained the attention and respect of advocates, business leaders, and members of Congress.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least fifteen years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
