I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

When I think about what I went through over the last couple of years, it was tough, but I am truly one of the LUCKY ones. Now each year I have decided to pick a couple of worthwhile charities to raise money for. St. Baldrick's was established to fund research for childhood cancer. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

SOOOO, I need your help. I am going to shave my 2 years of hair growth down to 1/4". I really like my long hair, but you know what - it's just hair and it will grow back. But for a lot of kids, they don't get that chance. I have set a goal to raise $1,500. I am willing to sacrifice my locks to make this goal. Please consider donating to this worthwhile charity. Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all - Laura
