I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Justin Eberly, Assistant Chief of Silver Spring Ambulance, intends to join a number of other emergency services personnel in a St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser. The fundraiser is scheduled to be held at New Kingstown Fire Company on March 14th at 11am. Eberly and the other "shavees" will shave their heads, soliciting donations to benefit pediatric cancer research.

To celebrate the last day with a full head of hair, Eberly has challenged Silver Spring Ambulance and the community to contribute toward a fundraising goal of $500 for the cause. If the goal is achieved, he will also participate in the Silver Spring Township Jig Jog 5-K, dying his hair green before it is shaved off!
