I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help!
Most of my first memories are of things I don't want other kids and families to have memories of. Running and playing- but instead of our home I was running down hospital hallways and playing with my sister on a hospital bed. Then we went home, and it was quiet. I looked for her. In closets and under beds and upstairs and down. I looked for a long time, but I only saw her and played with her when I fell asleep at night and dreamed of her- Cassie was gone. Cancer took my sister, hurt my family, tried to steal my mother's laughter and did steal my sister's life. Cancer robbed the world of her and me of her smiling, adoring love. I always carry her with me, and I know I am lucky to have had her, but I don't want other families to have that loss, or other children stolen by cancer. I want to see the end of battles like hers.
Will you help me and make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you, Maddi K
