I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving this red mop off my head to raise money to fight childhood cancer. No hair? No biggie for me, but a huge deal for the kids this money is going to help. Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers, and research for them is extremely underfunded. I've wanted to do this for a very long time, and now is the time. Part of the reason is that I'm now a mother of two small children, and each time I read a story involving a child and cancer, my heart breaks in ways it just couldn't before I had kids. Donate what you can, and share, tweet, email, and send smoke signals to spread the word. Let's collectively tell childhood cancer to shove it. xxx+o, Jess
