I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras would like to dedicate their June 2nd, 2013 performance to kids with cancer. "World Espanol" will be held at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and we will be “Drumming Up Support” for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation! Unlike the traditional "head shaving events" held for St. Baldrick's, CVYO will be raffling some wonderful gift baskets at our June 2nd concert and all proceeds will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation! Here is a sneak peek at the baskets that are available this year: “Celebrate St. Baldrick’s”- Two Founders tickets good for the January, 2014 CVYO performance and assorted items. Minimum value $150. “Autographed Kirk Gibson!”- Signed 16 x 20, framed, double matted, “biggest moment in LA sports history!” Value $495! “Happy Father’s Day!” - Golf and carts for four at Los Robles Greens Golf Course (must be used by August 15, 2013) AND $50 Outback gift card! Value $298. “Maestro and Mastros” After seeing the Maestro, go to Mastros across from the TO Arts Plaza! $150 gift certificate to Mastros and $40 bottle of wine.
