I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey every one! Most of you probably know me, but if you don't know me, my name is Sarah Mislan. I'm a freshman at Truman State University and I am pre med, with the end goal of being a Pediatric Oncologist. I'm shaving my head for St. Baldrick's so I can make a small difference in the battle against cancer that many children are facing each and every day.

I have been personally inspired by a specific young boy named Drew. I have babysat for Drew and his younger brothers since Drew was 3 years old. Recently, Drew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Even though shaving my head won't magically make everything better for Drew, I want to show my support for Drew and his family, who have made such a difference in my life.

Please help me any way you can to support Drew and his family, and every other family dealing with cancer. Whether it be an encouraging message, or a donation, anything and everything is appreciated. All money that is donated goes directly to St. Baldrick's foundation to advance pediatric cancer research.

Much love,
Sarah Mislan
