Why am I shaving my head?
Although St. Baldrick's is mainly about cancer for kids, cancer can strike anyone at any time. My grandfather passed away to cancer in 2008, my grandmother fought cancer decades ago and forever lives with scars of her illness, and my mother battled cancer when she was in her forties. This event means a lot to us, and we are all strong supporters of the fight against cancer. I am showing my support by shaving my head for the first time in my life, and I hope you will support this great cause by donating toward cancer research. Thank you for your support!
More about St. Baldrick's
Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We must all do everything we can to give kids a better chance for a cure.
