I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Go-Bald-Becker's

Yesterday was Hank Schueler's birthday (3/9/93). He would be 20 years old and a sophomore in college, like my daughter, Brigit, who spent 8 years in grammar school with him. His younger sister, Anna, is a senior in high school and is going to the University of Michigan on a lacrosse scholarship. I coached Anna when she was in 4th grade and she spent 8 years in grammar school with my son, Sean. Hank's younger brother, Joe, will graduate this May from grammar school alongside Colum, my youngest son. We lost Hank 5 1/2 years ago to cancer. Despite being the best athlete in the class (football, baseball and basketball), the best doctors in the Chicagoland area could not save him from this terrible disease. Colum and I are shaving our heads on March 22 to raise funds to fight childhood cancer and save kids like Hank. Thank you for your support.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
