I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cue Balls For A Cure

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved for the second straight year to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

While last year's outpouring of support from friends and family was amazing, my most meaningful experience was learning about Ila Jean Rathbone, a 7 year old from Schenectady. She was 18 months old when first diagnosed with neuroblastoma. I was blown away by the endless rounds of varying treatments and surgeries her tiny body endured. She lived with such courage and spunk. You can see photos of her amazing blue eyes and her hamming it up for the camera with her St. Baldrick’s team of classmates. I prayed daily for Ila. Sadly, she passed shortly after the St. Baldrick’s event.

Please watch the three minute video, “The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect” You will understand that there is still much work to be done to find cures and treatments. I would love your support with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
