I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Whippet Dogs United

I may look like I can make little impression on the world, but each dollar I raise, give a chance for someone else to make that mark for me. This is my third year shaving my head and I'm so excited. I probaly won't raise as much as I have in the past but I'm gonna try to get close.

Most people know why I shave my head, but if you by chance don't know here's a little incite for you. When I was twelve, my hair was so thick that I couldn't get a brush through it. The whole thing started out as a joke from my dad, and I thought he was crazy. Then after deliberation I decided that would be pretty cool. Me mom was freaking out, but I did what I believed in. The first few weeks kids made fun of me a school, and called me names. But at the end of the day I would look at myself in the mirror and say, "Wow, I made a difference in another kids life, and made a bully out of another. Pretty good day!" After that I relised that it was more important to give back to others and not be gready and self conscience. Hacked by the mom: I remember helping the joke along by telling you St. Baldricks was coming up. When you told me you really wanted to shave your head for the cause, I did say "I was only kidding!" In a panicked voice, but you have always stood up for what you believe in and you are beautiful bald! I am so proud of you!
