I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Sara Beth

Hello again everybody! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Last year was my first year being a shavee for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and it was a great experience! Each of you made it so with your selfless contributions to fund childhood cancer research! St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization except the U. S. government. Last year we raised over $2,000 dollars to help fight childhood cancer and I’m respectfully requesting that we top it! I know we can do it. I’m teaming up with Team Sara Beth again at Chicago Police’s Area 5 event in admiration of my friend and academy-mate Joe Martorano and his family’s battle with cancer. Joe’s daughter Sara was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor at the age of 4 in 2008. I am very happy to report that she is in full remission. It was a long and tough road though, wrought with surgery, and several radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Certainly, this is more than adults can handle much less a sweet little girl. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support kids like Sara. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Thank you!
