I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

My wife Jurga, my son Jacob and I shaved our heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. This is my 2nd year organizing the St. Baldrick’s event in Detroit and honoring my cousin's heroic son, Jacob Gregory Koenigs, who lost his battle with rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 8 ½. My son Jacob Gregory Bendtsen is 9 and he and my wife also felt compelled to get involved with this great organization. Last year I raised over $11,000 and this year the 3 of us would like to raise $15,000 by shaving our heads on March 26th at Bar Louie’s in Novi. Please support us by by donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation (see left), attending the event or volunteering to be a shavee. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
