Many of you already know that I was diagnosed with cancer shortly before my 40th birthday. People kept telling me that I was too young to have cancer, but of course I wasn't. Cancers don't seem to care how old their victims are. I've known several people younger than me who fought cancer, and not all of them were as lucky as I am. I am doing this in honor of all those I've known who have fought cancer and for those close to them. Even more importantly, I'm doing this to raise money that will help those much younger than me, who have their whole lives ahead of them.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
