33 hours and counting. I'd like to thank all of you who have stepped up so far in support of me but more importantly of this event. Many children are touched ny cancer every year. I pray that none of you or yours have to deal with this. In support of finding cures, I will continue to join this effort to find an end to childrens cancer.
If you have made a donation, again my thanks. For everyone, you can come out and show a more visible support of St.Baldricks at the shaving event on Saturday, 24 March at Gaynor's restaurant & Pub. It starts at 3 until with all kinds of activities and "special" guests. Silent auctions & raffles. Activities for kids. My grandson now 7 & his dad came out to this event three years ago to see me give up a 30 year mustache & beard for St.Baldricks. The next year he and his his Dad shaved along side me and have been supporters of St.Baldricks at the event held at Oak Lawn High School where his Dad teaches. So I urge you to come and show your support this Saturday. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
