I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Always Have Hope

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Always Have Hope

On March 10, 2010, Hope Fuller lost a courageous battle with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a highly aggressive tumor located in the brainstem which controls breathing, heart rate, nerves, and muscles used in seeing, hearing, walking, talking, and eating. The median survival time for a child with this tumor is 10 months. Hope fought for 7 months. Her time with us was too short.

I was with Hope the day she had to cut her beautiful, long, thick hair for the radiation mask. She was so brave. She didn't have a choice. It wasn't fair and it needs to stop. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
