I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Eagles

Cancer is a bad bad disease, and I want to help people that have this disease because I care. And everyone in my class cares too, when my teacher came into class and shared this wonderful website with us I was right away interested. I remember when she said that we could shave our heads too. so I thought, and right away wanted to, so right when I got home I asked my mom if I could, she said no, because its a big choice to make and you have to fully commite to it. so the next day my teacher then said that we dont have to shave our heads. she said that theres a website that we could go on and become either a shevee(person to get their head shaved) or a volenteer(somone to donate money) and then I was full of delight. because if youre a volenteer you dont have to shave youre head, you can just donate money and have people donate to you so that you donate that money to st. baldricks. and at school, when a lot of people in my class started getting involved, my teacher decided to make a classs team: THE BALD EAGLES. and suddenly a lot more people started to donate, get more involved, and become a member on the bald eagles. And that is why I think that everyone should donate to the st. baldricks because while youre saving up money to go out shopping, you could be saving a life.
