I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hi all. As you know I am very passionate about St. Baldricks. I always have a reason to shave. I have known two childhood cancer survivors personally and this is going to be my 7th year shaving for this cause. This year hits my hometown a little harder though. We had a student that was a senior pass away from cancer (AML). I only partially knew her but the pain that I have seen from my peers and teachers pushes me to do this in her honor. This year I am shaving for Emma Pavez so that no other family has to go through what her family did. I wish we could have done something a little earlier so they did not. So instead I will lead the change in her honor.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
