I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Sure, the hardships caused by COVID-19 knocked ALL fundraising efforts off stride, but things are getting back to normal, including the annual St. Baldrick’s shave at Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub and Restaurant in Syracuse.


As before, along with hundreds of others, I’ll be taking my turn on stage for an incredibly stylish hairdo. Of course, all St. Baldrick’s shaves volunteer to show support to the thousands of kids who lose their hair when undergoing chemo treatments, but more importantly, to raise money for continuing research into cures for pediatric cancers.


If you can, please consider a donation to this worthy cause and help give kids some hope during their personal struggles. Hey, better yet, why not become a shavee and see how much your friends and family will pay to see you bald. I’ll save you a stool on stage.
