The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer and donor powered charity committed to supporting the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
Family and Friends,
No haircut since the 2021 St. Baldrick’s Head Shave and the picture proves it!
Will you help me raise money for children’s cancer research? Cancer affects kids from all walks of life, whether they’re learning to walk or learning to drive, live in big cities or small towns, have brown eyes or blue eyes. It doesn’t discriminate based on ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic status. Kids with cancer deserve a lifetime and are the heart of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The need to fund research to find cures for children's cancer doesn't take a break just because of COVID-19. Kids need to run and play with their peers and moms and dads need to think about the ordinary challenges of childhood! If you are able, please consider a donation.
Tillie is 10 years off treatment!!!
Thank G-d, Healthy and Happy!
She’s 18 and soon to graduate High School and head off to college! Captain of the swim team after four years, still playing softball, president of local USY, and…Heading Off To College!
Of course I rented an apartment
across from her dorm!!
Tillie's story began in 2005 when she was first diagnosed with leukemia. She relapsed in 2009 which brought on the hardcore chemo and brain radiation. Tillie is a TWO-TIME CANCER SURVIVOR. Many of you have been with us since the early days. Thank you for sticking with us! Thank you for praying with us! Thank you for helping us and St. Baldrick’s.
I shave my head and raise money for St. Baldrick's each year because I want to help make it possible for children's cancer researchers to find a cure. This is the 12th year shaving my head. Please donate to help researchers find the cure.
Our 2022 Head Shave event will again be socially distanced in our driveway. Tillie and Jared will again oversee the clippers. Sue will be ready with bandages (thankfully, none needed last year!) Perhaps we shave the beard first?
Come with a big enough donation and maybe you can have a go at the clippers!
Since 2005, St. Baldrick's has awarded more than $312 million to support lifesaving research, making the St. Baldrick's Foundation the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Please donate to St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Until a cure, Larry and Sue, Tillie, and Jared
