Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s?
I have seen cancer not only effect love ones, but see it everyday in the world of social media. I am a proud father of three young children and would want YOU to help the cause if it were one of my own.
My backstory of growing my hair out was originally set out for one of my dear aunts who is battling. A lightbulb just clicked into my head saying why not make it a St. Baldrick’s event since I don’t think I can get my mop on my head to get to 7 inches. My story is much different because I want to honor not only my loved one directly, but it hits me hard to see children that are fighting that are the ages of my own. Life is very difficult to understand, but I want to do my part in helping out the cause!
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
