I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I last had my hair cut in February of 2020, and in March as we all know, we locked down due to Covid. As my hair grew longer, my initial thought was to let it grow and donate a portion to wigs for kids, but then I read that they sometimes don't accept grey hair, of which I have a few, but only a few. So then I remembered St. Baldrick's, and the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of pursuing that path. I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. The event will be upon us fast so please help me in this fight and donate as much as you can, as soon as possible, and help me reach my goal of $2,000. The shaving event will be on September 26, 2021, at One Under Craft Beer and Eats, from 12-5 p.m. I thank you sincerely for your support.
