I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I'm doing this for my eighth year. I first started supporting this cause when a member of my parish was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. It was my wife who encouraged me to sign up. She encouraged me to do it again when she found out my old school (APW) had a team and was participating. Sadly, we lost my beautiful wife Amy a few years ago. She lost her own battle with Breast Cancer at the age of 36. I'm doing it again this year not just because she would want me to or to honor her, but because cancer affects way too many people and it burdens our families and communities. So much has been given to my family receiving people's time, money, encouragement, hugs, advice, compassion, and love over the years. I hope you can help me again raise money for childhood cancer research which is extremely underfunded and in dire need during the last year of the pandemic. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Breakthroughs in childhood cancer research helped change the game in fighting all cancers.
