I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Here I am again. I hope you are not getting tired of seeing me bald. I just hate seeing all the pain and sorrow caused by childhood cancer incidents, and I cannot stop working to raise money for a cure. With everything happening this year, I almost decided against shaving. However, I thought for those same reasons, it couldn't be more important than this year. So please consider standing beside me as I continue to work toward finding a cure or at least developing more humane treatments. So far together we have raised $124,000 over 12 years. That means we have lifted Lower Cape May Regional to over $250,000. Not bad for the southern most tip of New Jersey. So now I ask you to help me put charity over vanity and step into the barber's chair once again. The last 5 years, we have raised over $10,00 each year. Last year we took a step back after a huge 2019. This year's goals have all been about reaching milestones. The latest goal, $13,109 would lift our 12 year total over $125,000. Thankks to all the support, we have averaged over $10,000 every year we have shaved. I absolutely love you all for the support. Thank you. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.
