I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

In 2019, my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. Soon after that I read a book called Echo's Sister. Since then, I have been desperate to help. In early 2020 I found this website, St Baldricks. I learned that every 2 minutes one child will be diagnosed with cancer. That equals to about 300,000 a year. That means about 300,000 families will hear the words: "your child has cancer." It's not fair that sweet little 4 year olds are crying because they don't have hair. I don't need my hair. They need the funds. Thank you to all the people who donate through my page .   #Every2Minutes

They ride tricycles down hallways, not at the park.

They know the names of their chemo, not their classmates.

The nurses and doctors become their new family.

Their smile will make a grown man cry.

They are fighters.

To the people who will stare:

Yes, I'm bald. Deal with it. I shaved my head 'cause right now there is a kid crying because she has no hair. I'm not transgender. I'm not a weirdo. I'm not in the military. I shaved my head because my grandmothers died of the same "rare" cancer. Take a picture, it lasts longer. ;)
