I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have participated in this event 6 years in a row. Last year I did not do it..... middle school. My school, O'Neill Middle School does a St. Baldrick's fundraiser every 2 years. This is not a big shaving event. Only some teachers participate while everyone raises money. Dr. Meg VanDyke, one of my teachers, sent an email that if our school raises $10,000 she will shave her head. My mom replied and told her of my history with this event. Dr. VanDyke asked me if I would be willing to shave my head if the school raised $10,000 to get the 8th grade involved. I agreed. Raising money for this is more important than my vanity. Please help me meet my goal to add to the other O'Neill funds raised and if it is $10,000 or more I will participate in the shave! Thank you for helping me help others!
