I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Actually, WE (Rev. Mark Ralls and Steve Henry) are raising money for childhood cancer research.

WE DID IT...... THE HEADS ARE SHAVED. SEE PHOTOS BELOW OF BEFORE AND AFTER.   Also the photo above has a before / after toggle.

CLICK HERE TO SEE THE VIDEO of us getting our hair cut.

Rev. Mark Ralls and I are on a mission to make the world a better place starting with the younger crowd. They are the future of our society and get less cancer funding than the older crowd. Also, the results of treatment and the cancer itself causes problems for the rest of their lives.

Mark did this last year and raised a bunch of money. When I heard this I thought that if shaving my hair and taking some time would change a person's life at the beginning of their life..... Damn... this is something I can do!

Give what you can. Yes, big is better, but small also puts your name on the list to show the world that changes happen one person at a time. Please let's all change someone's life and make a difference.  Please click the donate button to the left now.

** for those of you that don't want to share your info but want to donate, please just give you donation to Mark or I and we will donate it in your name, anonymously or in memory of another person.

Message from Steve: I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every day I think about how lucky I am to have had the life and opportunities I have had. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. This is really messed up. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fund-raise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! YES, you. Each one of us can chip in and make a difference in this world. Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let's #DFYchildhoodCancers together. I am not asking you to shave your head. Just make a donation relative to how lucky you might feel. It is my honor to be a part of this project with my good friend and pastor, Mark Ralls, at First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville, where I work. My goal is to do my part in making the world a better place and helping change the lives of others. I need your help to do this.

This is what it takes to make ME shave my head.
