As most of you all are aware, I lost my son Derick on March 22, 2015 to the terrible disease of Medulloblastoma Cancer. He fought this disease valiantly for two years with the best doctors and treatment we could ask for. This year will be 5 years since we lost Derick and there is still not a cure for this horrible disease and there are children being diagnosed everyday. For the past several years, I’ve been involved in raising money for childhood cancer research in honor of Derick for a great cause “Shave for the Brave” through St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Approximately 3.8% of federal funds for cancer is dedicated to the research for all the childhood cancers combined. You are correct; this is an extremely low percentage. If you would like to donate, please click on the "donate" button above, but if not please pass the awareness of the site. Thanks for everything.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
