I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman

This makes my 14th year of head shaving to raise funds, supporting research for childhood cancer. Patrick McSweeney, The Fighting Irishman, is our honored hero. He has relapsed 6x, and is nearly 2 years out from his 2nd bone marrow transplant. He has previously undergone T-cell therapy, Kymriah, and was patient #34 in the experimental phase of testing this new drug and treatment method. This year will be different for me, as my scalp is being treated for a condition and I’ve not been able to grow my hair back, ready to shave at the OLOL St. Baldrick’s event. This isn’t stopping me from re-forming Team Fighting Irishman and raising funds for childhood cancer research. Only 4% of federal funds for cancer research are directed to pediatric forms. Better, more effective, and less invasive measures are needed in order to improve cure rates and reduce life long side effects. Please join our team and donate generously!
