I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Fighting Irishman

This is my 8th year participating on Team Fighting Irishman and volunteering for St. Baldricks. This will be my 4th time cutting my locks to fund research to cure childhood cancer. Patrick McSweeney is the warrior that got us involved, as he has been battling leukemia for 15 years and counting. Through my work with Camp Quality Kentuckiana as a camp counselor, I have met far too many children who have battled or are presently battling cancer. I sadly also have met many who could not be cured and have earned their angel wings. St. Baldricks has funded important studies to cure cancer and treat patients who will have lifelong effects from treatments. No child should have to suffer or take drugs that are outdated and not tested safe for children. Please help me to find a cure for childhood cancer and make the world a better place for everyone!
