I am taking part in St. Baldricks for the 3rd time this year. We take part in it with my Boy Scout Troop, Troop 648, who does it in memory of one of our Eagle Scouts, Sam Marx. I have volunteered and raised money since I joined the troop. This year I also helped out with another fundraiser for our team, Sam's Run, on a Saturday morning. My friend Ukiah and I had a great time while they earned money for such an important cause. I am so thankful that cancer hasn't affected our family yet, but, I also know that can change at anytime.
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Will you help me meet my goal of $700 to help kids with childhood cancers?
Thank you!
