I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love my long hair.  It's the longest it's ever been and I really like it.  Which is why it's time to get rid of all of it - there are kids out there who are really suffering and the LEAST I can do is shave my head for all of them...  and St. Baldricks is very open about where the money goes to.  72% goes to finding a cure, 24% goes to fundraising so the organization can grow and a piddly 4% goes to administration (Accounting, grants, expenses).

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
