I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello, my name is Rachel Unnikumaran, and I am going to shave my head bald. A lot of people asked me why I would want to be bald, and I told them that it was for child cancer research. Now I know that it's for a much greater cause. It is for all the kids out there who feel different then anyone else just because of a stupid disease. For those who don't know, my Abuelito died a few years ago from cancer. I chose to do this because I know that even though he experienced extreme physical and mental pain during his fight, he was always willing to help others. I want to make sure that anyone fighting against cancer, especially children, don't feel like they're alone in this fight. I may be losing my hair, but I'm gaining a new family.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
