I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Family, Friends, and Colleagues!

I have been letting my hair grow for the last 8 years with plans to donate my long locks and shave my head for a good cause. This is the year! No chickening out or bridesmaid duties as an excuse.

On Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Fire Station 89 in North Hollywood, I will be cutting my hair and shaving my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Childhood cancer differs from adult cancer, and research for it is vastly and consistently underfunded. Thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults are fighting for their lives.

So please join me in supporting this worthy cause by making a donation toward my fundraising goal of $3,000. Any amount you can give helps. As poet John Donne penned, "No man is an island"; we are all where we are with the help, assistance, encouragement, and generosity of not only family and friends, but kindhearted strangers along our path. Thank you for your generosity and for making a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.

With appreciation and gratitude, Elizabeth
