I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm the Head Brewer and one of the founders of Mile Wide Beer Company. I have had a long beard for the last 6 years and I'm ready to put it on the chopping block for St. Baldricks! Having a long beard for 6 years means that there are many people in my life that have never seen me without it, like my girlfriend (of 3 years), many of my coworkers, as well as my puppy (Gerald). I'm shaving my beard to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
