I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Four years ago I gave myself the goal to grow out my hair as long as I could. Recently I looked in the mirror and thought, "My hair has gotten too long!" I didn't want to see a hairstylist just for them to throw away all the hair I had spent so long to grow, I wanted to put it to use. So I decided that I would donate it. When I told my friends that I planned on donating my hair one of them suggested I start a St. Baldrick's fundraiser, she had done one in high school. Now I have a fundraiser AND I'm donating my hair to Wigs For Kids

Did you know 1 in 5 children who are diagnosed with cancer will not survive and 2 out of 3 survivors will suffer long term effects from their cancer treatments. Every dollar raised is a dollar used towards finding a more effective way to treat and prevent childhood cancer.

Please help me fund the research!
