I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Markit

My niece Maggie was diagnosed with ALL in the fall of 2007. She was four years old. The past two and a half years have been a roller coaster for my sister, her husband and their 8 other children. But after two years of treatment, Maggie's now in remission and is doing great. She's enjoying first grade. Through it all Maggie never lost her wonderful attitude and infectious positive spirit. Shaving my head to raise money to help fight childhood cancer is a small way for me to express my gratitude for the fact that treatments for ALL have been developed and Maggie has an incredibly good chance of remaining cancer free. If we can find treatments and cures for all cancers - in particular childhood ones - the world would definitely be a better place. Thanks for your support!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
