My daughter Sarah is a university student with a big heart. She also walks her talk. A year ago, Sarah lost her best friend Maggie to cancer. In Maggie's memory, Sarah has pledged to shave her head to raise $5,000 for cancer research. That's a big number for young people. If Sarah and her student friends can do that, I think my friends and colleagues should do at least twice that! So when we raise $10,000 I'll shave my head right along with Sarah on March 21st.
When you decide how much to give, think about how much you spent on a single round of golf on vacation last summer, or for a pair of football or hockey tickets, or for dinner and drinks, or for a concert or play, or even for a movie with the family. I'd like you to consider a significant donation to help fight this vicious disease. Please be generous.
Thank you for helping. And for remembering Maggie.
