I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My daughter Sarah is a university student with a big heart. She also walks her talk. A year ago, Sarah lost her best friend Maggie to cancer. In Maggie's memory, Sarah has pledged to shave her head to raise $5,000 for cancer research. That's a big number for young people. If Sarah and her student friends can do that, I think my friends and colleagues should do at least twice that! So when we raise $10,000 I'll shave my head right along with Sarah on March 21st. When you decide how much to give, think about how much you spent on a single round of golf on vacation last summer, or for a pair of football or hockey tickets, or for dinner and drinks, or for a concert or play, or even for a movie with the family. I'd like you to consider a significant donation to help fight this vicious disease. Please be generous. Thank you for helping. And for remembering Maggie.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
