I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Fabulous 5K

Have you heard? Bridgeway Elementary has answered the call to be heroes! We will be hosting a St. Baldrick’s head shaving event on March 22nd to raise funds, awareness and hope to families fighting childhood cancer. Some teachers and students are voluntarily shaving their heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please consider showing your support with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Every donation makes a difference. No amount is too small. It only takes 3 minutes of your time to make a difference in the life of a family and child fighting childhood cancer. Anyone can donate! Tell your family, tell your friends, spread the word about what they are doing to make a difference in the lives of others. I can assure you your gift will be used responsibly. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. This is a volunteer-driven charity, which keeps fundraising costs low and grants high. In 2012 alone, St. Baldrick's granted more than $23 million for research and almost all raised by more than 31,000 “shavees”. Thanks in advance for your giving hearts!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
