I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My dad and I are shaving our heads with St. Baldrick's Foundation to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Unfortunately, you probably know someone who has had cancer. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Ever since a fellow UVA student, Farheena Mustafa, participated as a shavee, I've wanted to take part in this great cause. I've finally mustered up the courage, and what a better time than this quarantine to shave off all of my lovely locks! Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together. Want to raise money and shave your head too? Join my team!

If you donate (anything helps!), I will send you a Zoom link to watch me shave my hair live on November 27th at 6pm!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
