I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I WENT BALD FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
We did it! Thanks to everyone involved for a wonderful night! So happy to have raised over $26,000 as an event. We met our event goal! Childhood cancer takes the lives of one of every five children diagnosed in the U.S and those lucky enough to beat it have to go through so many difficult hurdles. While working at the Cancer Center at Riley Hospital for Children, I saw too many kids die before they really got a chance to live. I've seen what childhood cancer looks like. That's why I'm raising money for pediatric cancer research.
This year I've watched two friends battle this terrible disease. I've met many more amazing survivors, but also heard so many stories of those who have lost their battle.
Please support me as I bravely give up my hair just as so many cancer patients must do! Be a hero to a kid with cancer and help me out by helping me reach my goal! Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Click "Make a donation" (on the left) to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
Please spread the word to friends, family, and coworkers. And, if you want to watch me go bald in person, save the date for March 15, 2012 at 6:00pm. Thank you!
