I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. This will be my tenth year raising money and shaving my hair. In years past my motivation had been my grandfathers, in honor of Larry and in memory of Lonnie, and they still are. I have another driving force, my sister, Evelyn. She shaved her hair to raise money and raise awareness for teen anxiety and depression four years ago. She told me that I was her motivation and that makes me want to do even better each year.

This year I will be shaving my head while at Virginia Tech.  I will be shaving it at the Wesley Foundation Building and will also be live streaming it!
