I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

After a year-long hiatus, I am back for St. Baldrick's, and I am super excited! As this will be my fourth year being a shavee, I can not be more pumped to help raise money for children who are battling cancer. As a survivor myself, among many, I hope to do whatever I can to make this issue known and understood. With many friends in remission, still in treatment, or sadly have passed away from childhood cancer, I hope to stand up for them and represent them, as I shave my head in solidarity with them. When I started in 2016, I raised $1900, then over $2000 in 2017, and eventually $3000 in 2018! I would love to do just as well, if not better than years prior. However, I can't do it without your help! Please, if you feel so called, donate to this worthy cause! 



Also, did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
